Dutch Uncles are very much rising stars, playing a big part in the new Manchester music scene. They have been making music together for the past five years and have mastered the art of fashioning complex compositions and off-kilter time signatures into indie-pop, alt-anthems with ease. In the case of 'The Ink'complexity has never sounded so simple and intricacy has never sounded so massive.
Recent full tour supports include The Futureheads, Bombay Bicycle Club, Maximo Park and Dananananaykroyd. 'The Ink' was unveiled by Huw Stephens on Radio 1 as his 'Hot Exclusive of the Week' quickly followed by Xfm's John Kennedy making it his 'Hot New One'. The band have been invited to record a BBC Maida Vale session in June 2010 and in March were featured in Vogue Italia, the worlds leading fashion magazine.
